(This page has been taken from a forum post by Cole/Nimitz. Thanks go to him for his advice and pool of knowledge)
If some of you log in and find you don't know what to do next to level there is a guide for you at the end of this page... It is broken up into chapters and has a shopping list for the quests at the start before you leave the AH.
This works very well and he has done his research very well though some of the areas he suggests go into areas where there are a lot of horde... for some of us this may be a turn off but me... I love the pvp. But for those who don't there are some suggestions of where to go at the comments on the bottom of the guides.
He has not forgotten to pick up any quests and if you follow this guide it is very easy to lvl without having a main.
My tips for new toons to this server.
1. AH all items that are not grey. (white items you may think are worthless but someone will probably pay through the nose for them as they are generally used in lvling a profession) ie large fangs... I used to vendor... they sell for up to 1g each depending on supply in the AH.
2. Pick up all grey items. The "grey" items are vendor trash but that just means that you will not be able to sell them on AH as they are useless. They do however sell for good money to vendors. If i have to choose between dropping a grey or white item... I drop the white as they sell to vendors for nothing as they are trying to get you using the AH.
3. With your new found wealth buy the biggest bags you can. By far the best value for money IMO if the runecloth bag - 14 slots can buy for around 2.5g on the AH normally. Mats are cheap too so just ask a tailor in guild to make one after finding the mats needed on www.thottbot.com or www.wowhead.com etc.
4. Run instances with people your level. If you get a high level toon to run you through if a twink weapon (a blue weapon/armor with 19, 29, 39 etc) drops they will prob ninja it from you as part of the payment reguardless of class.)
5. Important. When in PUG's (Pick Up Groups) always roll last. If someone is going to ninja at least you can call them a ninja and maybe win it yourself (if you roll need after a ninja attempt it is generally not frowned on as the group are angry at the first player that did it). If someone else NINJA's an item you can roll need also so not to miss out. I AM NOT SAYING TO NINJA ITEMS IN A GROUP AS THIS WILL REFLECT POORLY ON THE GUILD AND YOU WILL BE DISIPLINED IF REPORTED TO ONE OF THE GUILD OFFICERS.
